Dr. Feinstein is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in behavioral medicine and health psychology. One current focus is couples/marriage counseling, for which he completed Gottman Level II training. His second focus is patients with chronic medical conditions, which often effects the spouse: cancer, stroke, heart disease, diabetes, and neurocognitive conditions (e.g., Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). His approach to treatment is goal-oriented, evidence-based Cognitive Behavior Therapy augmented with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). He is an In-Network provider for Medicare, Cigna/Evernorth, Carelon/Beacon, and HealthNet/MHN.

He specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy and applied behavioral analysis for emotional and behavioral challenges, interpersonal skills training, coping with chronic medical conditions and aging, and assessment and prevention of domestic violence. He is a recognized national expert in forensic psychology, providing evaluation and consultation services in divorce, custody matters, and parental alienation, including court expert testimony.
